1WG Engines??

Post by goonerruss » Sat Oct 11, 2008 12:58 pm

Hi all, can anyone tell me how many types of FZR400 1WG engines there are? Have recently got a 2nd hand engine and my mechanic friend reckons it doesn't have the same mounting points? can anyone clarify this, thanks

True but then maybe Goonerrus will be able to spot the difference :poke:

All the engines are helpfully marked 1WG theres no engine numbers.

As said the 3TJ engine has mounts on the cylinder head.
Exup engines mount with frame rails to the bottom front (HA HA front bottom ;)) of the gearbox
Don't know about the Genisis
Ant the original steel frame FZR is black
