evening all,
what parts if any are compatible between the two bikes? shocks, rear sets, calipers etc. i seen on another thread here the front wheels inc discs are the same. any help would be much appreciated. thanks in advance Damien

Not alot as far as i can remember 600 forks are 41mm,the 3tj 43mm,the 600 shock is 300mm the 3tj around 340mm.the discs and front wheel are interchangeable as far as i know and the fzr600 clocks are very similar.the 4jh fzr600r has lots of interchangeable stuff with the yzf750 ie body work,footrests etc.the 3tj is even though its older than the fzr600 is technically a much better bike in every way than the 600 apart from power.what are you looking to change on yours or do you need some spares.

its a wee race bike Im putting together but as you know parts are like hens teeth, heard of a lad breaking a race 600r and was gonna call over and gather what i can. I've read all the threads about putting the 600 engine in but can't do it cuz that's cheating

what bits are you after,i might be able to help you out or you could put a wanted ad in the for sale section.

an exhaust system, wheels and sp forks. mine are just rr ones.

sorry bud cant help you with any of those but early r6 forks go straight in the 3tj yokes as theyre 43mm but they are a bit longer than the 400 ones but apparently work well but you will need the r6 front wheel as well.put an ad in the for sale section you never know,good luck with the build.
