Fzr400rrsp 3tj7 how much!!!
In my hunt for a nice rrsp I noticed this.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-FZR-40 ... 2382wt_922
It's about 2k out of my price range, not knowing a great deal about it, but seems a bit salty to me!

Stupidly overpriced. There was a chap on here struggling to sell one last year for around £1500.
I have to say I'm not a fan of that or the 'cocktail' scheme, the first 3TJ SP is so much nicer in TZR 3MA kind of way.

Yeah must say its not my favourite scheme. I agree with you Jim the first sp scheme is the nicest. That Hybrid one at Bruntingthorpe is gorgeous.

I quite like the scheme, for what it is.
I got in touch with the guy trying to sell his but he said there was somebody else interested in it from the midlands. Maybe the other person bought simply to sell through.

stupidly overpriced but worth what anybody will pay for it in the end.but it does look unmolested and standard so that may be in its favour.the paint scheme is just a product of its time though i have to agree its horrible looks like a 90s shellsuit.i wouldnt mind in my shed though! he is right about its rarity i think there were only 500 3tj6s and 500 3tj7s built so in that respect its more exclusive than bigger exotica.im buying a lottery ticket this weekend

I love that colour scheme, but that seller is just another dreamer trying to create demand for something in a market that doesn't exist (yet!). Although 400s are cool, and those who know they're cool know they're cool, they're still seen as 'first big bikes' by most people so (hopefully) they won't go mental like 250 2Ts have done anytime soon.
I'd pay £1500 (if I had £1500 spare!) for a good SP with all the bells and whistles.

This is now mine. She's in the garage, paid a hell of a lot less than advertised.
Needed a few bits but overall it's mint.
