Post by davlr » Sat Jul 28, 2012 8:45 pm

Just reading the latest mcn. Looking at the main picture theres a fzr in it apparntly but with a m1 livery on it. What ia it. It turns back into a stock picture for the brief review. So what is it?

Not really a proud reader of the rag, but sometimes you see something vaguely interesting. And it includes a great review of greybikes in a in no depth at all with plenty of printing mistakes.
Anyhow this is the photo

The actual Yamaha review on the next page show a stock fzr. I just quite like what I see with the nose sticking out between the hondas

It's 3TJ with different bodywork, the seat unit doesn't fit to well.

Ah now well done, looks so good. my knowledge isn't up to scratch with the FZRs, its more towards the Hondas. can't get enough of the Tyga kits and so on, but I couldn't figure it out when I saw it in the rag.

That is the later SV650 M1 bodykit I believe, with the fireblade tail option by BB Plastics

Bike number 62 from this pair, these were the people that sold the bike on ebay a while back.

Personally I dont know why anyone would want to change the appearance of the 3TJ. The first SP is probably one of the prettiest 400's ever made imo.
