We have lift off.. (Sort of)
Good 'ere innit?
The bike lives!!
Still in bits, but after lots of carb cleaner, lots of battery charging, lots of swearing, and lots of days, it finally makes the right noise....I very nearly orgasmed let me tell you.
So, the cosmetics are on hold for now. The race is on to get some riding done while the summer's here. It started 2 days ago, so I rekon that gives me about 2 weeks.
New rubber at the weekend, sort my brakes out, quick oil change, and ill be speeding by teatime.
And to think that this time yesterday, I was ready to sell it as spares!

NEW; filters (All), plugs, throttle cable, exhaust gaskets, tyres, chain, sprockets, grips, carb rubbers, front wheel bearings, oil, coolant
RECON; carbs, headers, subframe, all calipers, 2nd hand braided hoses for front, bar ends, fuel pump
HAVEN'T DONE YET; Powder coating for wheels, fairing cosmetics, indicators, 2nd hand silencer/link pipe needs fettling.
Ah well.
