My lowside

Post by Strikmabill » Sun Jul 18, 2010 5:11 pm

Bought a 1 piece RST Voltage that got here on friday around lunch. Had my last exam at 18h30m so the only thing going through my mind was trying them out and going for a ride. So as soon as I got home that's what I did. Really comfortable, air goes through the suit, really great. When heading back home passed a roundabout with a little grass and flowers that has it's own watering system. This f*cking watering system is so well taken care of that totally drenched the upper part of the road (it's a bit inclined). Next thing I notice my teejay was hitting the outter curb and my new 1 piece was really being ROAD tested..... I took some pictures

Amazingly the gloves don't have a scratch on them, specially the left hand which did most of the grinding as I was leaning left.

Am I the luckiest guy alive or what? Got away without a scratch but man... I bet there's a voodoo action figure of me somewhere.. (I couldn't be a doll, must be an action figure lol)

Cheers.

Over here you'd be on for sueing the council or owner of the watering device, clearly it's overwatering the area as the water isn't being soaked up by the ground.
get some pictures of it and the approach road. If the device affects the road surface and there's no warning of it then the owners have a liability.

I have some black bodywork.

Over here it's a bit different unfortunately. About 10 years ago or so a new roundabout was built near my block. There where no vertical signs, or signs of any kind, for months and one night a Renault Twingo went flying through the roundabout and was obviously pretty damaged as it hit a massive curb head on. Wanna take a guess what city workers were putting up the morning after?
