He guys
I’m new to this board, and first of all I would to say tanx guys for all the inspiration and tips which I found on this board. After I broke for the second time in a row the crank of my 400rr I saw the topis of fzrtim on the PB site about his hybrid 4/6 build.
So of I went, bought myself a foxeye engine put it in the bike. The electrics where quit a nightmare but in the end I toke the Ignitech CDI (Ignitech.cz) I had on my exup 1000 and wired it into the loom of the 400. I can recommend de Ignitech CDI to everybody with a hybrid and especially the guys which are running it on the track. With the CDI wired into the loom I finally got it was up and running. and did my first track day on the bike. And guess what and I´m afraid I´m hooked to this roundy roundy stuff.
First want to sort a few things out like gearing and suspension, and some race plastic, but after that I’m definitely heading back for the track what a buzz.
Just one question I´m going to put my Technoflex race shock from my exup 1000 into my 400 with a softer spring. But to keep the suspension in balance I would like make the front suspension a little bit stiffer does anyone know if it worth the try to put the spring of a ’90 exup 1000 into the 400 forks?
cheers
