Just had a nose through the BDK site too, :o

Did 50 miles on the TDR yesterday. It's hilarious couldn't stop laughing! Really usable to though.

I'd like to have a go on one with a 350 ypvs motor in. :-)

Yeah FZR is looking a bit sorry for itself at the minute but I will get it looking mint again somehow.

TDR's are hillairious, i had a 125cc many moons ago. A 350 banshee would be the ultimate supermoto although yours looks very standard still and i bet quite rare in that state.

Can you not get good fiberglass copies of the bodywork along the lines of what silhouette do?

Want to try and go down the standard route first if I can. The lowers are very good without any real scratches. It's just the tailpiece and nose.

They may well be repairable and you will never notice but if I can get undamaged replacement parts and original decals. It can be a mint bike again.

Everything else frame, forks swingarm are as new.

Its all repairable, get a scrap normal nose cone for the missing bit on yours. The seat unit could be plastic welded but you'd never hide it unless you repaint it, is that a pearl paint that white?

Do you think the tank will need a full spray?

Yeah it's pearl white.

Not if its just those 2 patches in the pics. being pearl you might notice it in the right light but its not in a noticable place.

Just checked RS paints and they list a silky white for FZR's which is pearl

Hopefully the tank can be touched up and i will put a tasteful tankpad on it which will cover it.

will just keep my fingers crossed that the decals are still available so the tail and nosecone can be sprayed.

brooky on here should be able to make you the decals!
i fixed a broken piece of fairing similar to that, i fibreglassed behind it, good and solid, then filled and sanded before repainting, couldnt tell it was done from the outside.
