Help from 1WG owner with spare carbs

Post by Maelstrom » Sun Mar 17, 2013 3:30 am

Greetings All,
I need help. Most of you know I make carb kits in Viton and I am now working on the FZR400 1WG. However, I have a problem. The factory that produces my moulds does not want to do the float bowl o-ring mould without having a float bowl first. Sometimes they will do a mould without having the float bowl and sometimes not. Such is the way of things, and I understand because the moulds are expensive, so I have to source a 1WG float bowl.
Anyway here is the deal. Someone send me a float bowl and I will send it back to you in about 5 weeks along with a free complete kit in Viton. Each kit is for 4 carbs. Of course I will pay for your postage costs and I can send payment to you via PayPal. If you are interested let me know and I will give you all the details.
cheers

Hi Blair,
I have a spare set of carbs from a 1WG Genesis (not 2TK,3EN1,3EN2 or 3TJ) & have managed to get a float bowl off. They are Mikuni carbs & I cannot find any id on them but definately 1WG - is this of any use to you?
Regards,
Phil.

Thanks Phil,
Another member has arranged to send one this week. I was just not fast enough on the keyboard. If this one falls through I will let you know.
cheers

Here is a pic of the float bowl o-ring. Just to avoid any more confusion about which model it is.
