i have stripped the bike of all its glory and upon taking the rear ride height adjuster out the inside of the actual frame part is threaded and the rear shock toppart kind of floats in it??
why is this?
am i missing something?

I think Yamaha were going to get round to it but didn't
Anyway get bolt the right dia and pitch and a couple of nuts to suit. Drill out the tube thread it the rest I'm sure you can work out.
