What's it worth?

1986 FZR400 1WG Genesis, looks pretty straight. Red/White original scheme extremely tidy. Mileage about 15k kilometres I think.

Been standing in a dealer for 18 months on behalf of a customer. He wanted £1800 for it not so long ago, way over the top IMO. It was freshly MOTd when it went in so now it's about 6 months out, no tax.

I'll get a few pics tomorrow.

Not worth a lot as far as a bike is concerned, obviously it's dependant on condition, but maybe worth something as a restoration project.
Remember a good 3TJ would be about £1k on the private market at this time of year.

I reckon the guy will still want between £1000 and £1200. I'll have to see how desperate he is to sell :twisted: There's no way I'd pay more than £800 anyway even though it does look near showroom condition.

Seems a tad too much to me hence why it's still sat there!!!

As mentioned a good 3tj / 4dx can be had for good money at mo

Buyers market this time of year ;)
