Well my bike is finished, had a few headaches but mainly due to the wiring, tried 2 400 looms, 2nd one was from a 3tj, couldn't get that one to work, so ended up putting on the loom from my 600 3he, had to sort out a few problems with it but got there in the end. Rode it for 1st time today and it's good to be reunited with the sweet handling 400, and the engine does feel quick although i do have a flat spot below 3000, probably due to the tuning thats gone on in the engine. Front wheel lifts very easy when winding it open...I love my old 400 even more than before :grin:

just need a fairing panel then see about respraying the bike
