My new Stainless system for the Super4
Managed to pick this up last week for £60, was really chuffed with it. Put the end can on my current headers to see what it sounds like and it's much louder than the standard exhaust, yay.
It's a nice looking system and is Stainless, so will hopefully hold up a lot better than old painted steel one riding through the winter.

Re: My new Stainless system for the Super4
A mate of mine off the forum gave me a shout to let me know some guy in Ards was selling his exhaust on GumTree. It was the exhaust that came on his bike but he wants to put it back to standard. Well chuffed and sounds pretty awesome too, and that's just the end can at the minute. Looking forward to fitting the headers over the next few weeks.

There ya go dude, gotta get round and let you hear it soon. Got the MOT on Monday so will fit the whole exhaust system after that. Got a K&N air filter on the way too, so will be interesting to see what difference, if any, that makes to the bike.

Will you need jetting changes after the system and filter?

n00b question, but why would you need to change the jets after that? Surely its not breathing that much harder to require more fuel i presume badly no doubt?

New end can = probably new jets.DaddyC wrote:n00b question, but why would you need to change the jets after that? Surely its not breathing that much harder to require more fuel i presume badly no doubt?
New full system = almost certainly new jets.
For the sake of £25-odd, get it on the dyno and find out. You might even find it's given you a performance gain.

Re: My new Stainless system for the Super4
Anyone know where I can take the bike to get it Dyno'd in Northern Ireland?
Also, where do I get new jets, or how do I know what size to get? Will a run on the Dyno help work that out? Not really up to speed with fuelling and jets and all that jazz.
