CBR600 shock

My NC29 is currently wearing a rebuilt CBR600 shock, a well known mod. The problem is where and how to mount the remote adjuster. At the moment it's strapped to the exhaust can hanger with two large, black cable ties. The cylinder has been wrapped with black tape to stop it rubbing on the hanger. It's all very functional and does the job but aesthetically pleasing it isn't. I'm pretty sure I've got two remote adjuster brackets somewhere, one from a '99 FireBlade and one from an NC30, but I can't think how to make use of them.
Anyone got any idea how to mount the remote so it looks proper?

Sure does. My idea at the moment is to cut the cable ties and strip off the tape then remount the remote in the same place but use either a large Jubilee clip (or possibly 2 narrower ones) or a P-clip. The P-clip comes ready backed with rubber and I thought maybe I could use a (neatly) cut-down piece of handle bar grip to go between the remote and the exhaust hanger. The Jubilee clip approach would require a bit more thought in to how to stop the clip rubbing against the remote and hanger, and the remote against the hanger. Tricky.
