I think this is time to start this topic. BTW VFR's guys already have one..

I'm thinking to buy following, it's lighter. Price is up to 350$ with P&P from Japan.
What you say guys ?

Looks the same as mine Parus, but with a different end can. I'll get a piccie up at the weekend

Will have a dyno read out soon. That exhaust is particularly good if you want to squeeze in a bigger radiator (I use one from a '99 R1 - it's basically flat with no curve) without the worry of the front wheel hitting it under brakes.

I'm not sure it's much use where it is at the moment, but I'm no expert.

I think it would be more effective if it was up on the headers.

Maybe I can do some tests on a dyno - I will let you know the results ;)

you know JMCA is not a brand but is the japanese equivelent of our British standard, in other words it just means that it meets jap noise regs.

Looks like a quality system though the way the headers sit so close to the engine is what my Beet racing system misses a bit like the HRC system which yours defo isn't but the one Parus says he is thinking about buying could well be.
I'll try to get some pics of the Beet system up soon

Tanuki is right, as far as I know the system Parus is looking at is either an HRC system, or a copy of an HRC system.

Mine looks identical and is made by TSR, although I have a longer endcan.

These systems are relatively good for midrange, handy when racing against VFR's as they don't get a jump in the initial phase off the turn before the in line 4 gets wound up...

I didn't know that actually

The advert said...

* JMCA Factory Full System Race Exhaust *
Factory team race full system, for all NC29 CBR400's. Serial number 00715064. Wish I could tell you more, but all the literature is in Japanese! Was on our track bike for one weekend, and has been sitting on the shelf for the past 15 years. Absolutely excellent condition! No rash, no damage, no rust.
