tap size?

hi all,

had my NC30 wheels powder coated but now i cannot get some of the disc bolts back in the hole because of the paint,so i need to tap them out,does any1 know what size i should get?

any info would be appreciated.

Ah, you didn't put bolts in then when you had it done?

M10 x 1mm maybe?

Take one of your disc bolts to a tool shop and they'll match it up.

Alternativly get a cheap set of tap and dies, they nearly all come with a thread gauge so you can match up the thread :-)

I'm pretty certain they're a standard M8 x 1.25mm thread, but might be M6 x 1.0mm. As Neo suggests, take to your local toolshop and they'll match it no problem.

thanks for the info back guys,its a M6X1.0 for future ref. found the trusty thread guages in my tool box at work.
