nc23 not revving through

Post by chrisja2 » Mon Mar 09, 2009 4:53 pm

nc23 track bike, new plugs/filter, carbs cleaned.HRC tap mod. It has a delayed reaction to the throttle being opened then goes fluffy at about 7000 rpm then flies up to the redline. Any thoughts?

Chris.

Standard 4-2-1 headers fitted Greame, so not that. Did you get my text about Thunders farewell gigs?

Any more suggestions?

Chris.

Chris,

I did - many thanks.

Give me a call sometime and I can give you some pointers ...

BTW - they will not rev cleanly if just pinging the throttle in the workshop - plus Tri Arms are very sensitive to carb balance - jet sizes and air box mods.

Cheers
