Hi, just bough myself a nc30, took out for a while today and on the way back my neutral light decided to start playing up. I now get no light when im in neutral but if I give the bike some revs in neutral it lights up and dissapears with the revs, this also sometimes happens with the speedo light?? Anyone had a similar experience or might know what it might be?
Cheers, Jamie.

Re: Neutral Indicator NC30
Hiya, yeah mine does that. The neutral light only works when it feels like it when the engines hot and running, but sometimes works ok if its not running. i can't remember why it does it. I should have a look while i not using it but i've done me neck in and cant move very well....ace.
Cheers

Sorry to here about your neck..Yeah went back out a little while ago and the neutral light is working again, don't know whether its a loose connection or common problem, mine also only seems to fail when the engines been running for a while??

Re: Neutral Indicator NC30
if it happens again, have a little fiddle with the wire that goes into the neutral switch.
see if it makes any difference.
i occasionally had a problem where the light would not come on,if i fiddled and moved the wire about the light would come back on.

Re: Neutral Indicator NC30
I've had this problem before, it was the globes.
They have only a single filament of wire for the contact when inserted into the globe holders, when the globe holders are pushed in it can upset the globe contact. The engine vibrations will be causing it to contact intermittently.
If you pull the globes out you'll understand this better!
