nc24 (again)

new problem put petrol down carb trumpets went to turn over complete electrical failure i have checked all fuses all ok checked earth wires appear ok im lost i have done this twice before worked ok but now got nothing whatsoever plz help thanks

Are you saying you have no electrics on the machine at all or do you have lights etc and the machine wont crank over? If theres no electrics try by passing the ignition switch it is easy said than done tho. If there is lights etc then id be tempted to take a look at the starter motor relay, on the right hand side of the bike near the battery

if there is no ignition lights at all,complete electrical failure then first of all check battery voltage.

then check the main fuse,this is usually seperate to the normal fuses and is in and around the starter relay.it is normally a 30amp fuse.

checked 30 amp fuse perfect no marks still intact it would appear to be battery asa quick check i run a screw driver across both terminals and got nothing at all i hAVE CHARGED this battery roughly about 7 times and its been fine today it just gave up thanks to all for their help much appreciated

Haha, never do that with the screw-driver across the terminals. It can cause the battery to explode, it is rare but you only need a battery to explode in your face once and you'll know about it.

Get a cheap multimeter for £5 if you dont' have one, will help testing voltages around the bike
