NC21 Exhaust fell off! Need help.

Hi been a while, I used to have an NC21 and posted here.

Sold that bike, regretted it, bought another.

Anyway the bike is almost on the road now, she's not cosmetically pretty but she's mostly good to go.... Was gonna book an MOT next weekend but the exhaust snapped as I was changing the end can due to a leaky exhaust.


I need a collector box, or knowledge of if an NC30 or RC24 collector will go on as they are more readily available, due to the difference in frame I'm not sure.

I will show you pictures, I think it's too far gone to weld.

Anyway any help appreciated, I love this bike and I don't want it to sit another month.

I don't mind swapping it for an NC24 collector even.... Already swapped the carbs to 24 lol.

Even more of a kick in the teeth is my main going to work machine broke yesterday so I was relying on getting this bike on the road.

It's so painful! The bike was litterely about to get an MOT too, I even inspected the exhaust for corrosion that could cause issues :/ the metal is solid along the entire exhaust but looking closer this section has been repaired before.

I guess that's what happens when you buy a bike that was someone else's project haha.

There used to be a guy on here many moons ago that fabricated these collector boxes. Can't for the life of me remember who though, I fabbed up my own for my race NC24.

It seems like Predator Motorsport still make stainless ones for the NC24 but the cheapest is £500!

I ended up going on a proxy site and importing a fairly good condition NC21 exhaust from Japan with what looks like only surface rust in various places, won it for £32, and the shipping was around £100 so it actually ended up cheaper than a lot of the ones I have seen here on the UK.

Hopefully all goes well with shipping, it's air freight so should be here within a week.

Nice work snagging that system. Lately been using amayama to buy stuff that just doesnt exist in the Uk for the Jap car.
