Hi guys and dolls,
Sadly my battery has died it's been on and off a old school Oxford oximiser over the winter months just went to start and next to nothing ignition lights barely light up, what size are we fitting these days is it a 9 amp hour i seem to think it was ?? I have not taken the cowl off to see what is fitted yet. I am not being lazy i just wonder if its wise to fit a slighly bigger capacity or not ...is that what we are doing on these things.
Thankyou.
1991 NC30.

Re: Battery size / help advice.
Should be something like a Yuasa YTX7A-BS IIRC, 6Ah with a 105a EN.
I'd personally recommend the Enduroline ENTX7A-BS, a bit cheaper but better capacity @ 7Ah and 135a EN.

Re: Battery size / help advice.
Last year I went for a YTX9-BS. 9A CCA135 £40, was cheaper than the YTX7
I was running a YTZ10 in it I had taken out of one of my Blades, fitted fine but over the top and ridiculous cost to replace new.

My 893 runs a YTX9-BS. Does that fit in the NC30 tray? I thought the tray on the 400s were smaller?Kenthammer wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 7:15 pmLast year I went for a YTX9-BS. 9A CCA135 £40, was cheaper than the YTX7

YTX9 is just a bit taller but the same foot print.
I use a Shido LiPo battery - it's great.
