NC30 rear engine mount stuck

Post by abject » Fri Feb 12, 2021 9:30 pm

Hi guys, I've been trying to remove the last mounting bolt from my NC30 and have run out of ideas, would appreciate some help.

What I have tried so far:
  • Hammering it out from the left side
  • Heating all areas
  • WD40 everywhere
  • Following on from this thread, pivoting the engine around it but the entire bolt spins with the engine
  • As a last resort, using a hex on the right hand side to keep the bolt in place while pivoting the engine (which just rounded the shit out of it)
  • Combinations of all the above
Been at it for 5 hours so far with no luck, any pointers appreciated. Tempted to just start drilling the fucker at this stage.

You are referring to the lower bolt that passes through the engine cases from right to left?
