Er..? This all sounds rather complicated. Does anyone know their 'chosen spring rate'? And wtf is a 'rear shock lever ratio' when it's at home?
"..take off the spring and measure how much the shock travels.." Yes, I'll nip down to the garage and do it during the adverts.

Surely this has got to be a con. Think carefully before you hit that link!!

Sounds like you're genuine so I apologise for my scepticism. There are a lot of spammers and scammers around these days, so I hope you'll forgive my caution. Still never heard of the rear shock lever ratio, but maybe you're right and it's just me. I also don't think whipping off and replacing a shock spring is simple. Am I the only one on here who'd pass on that job?
