Hi,

I had the carbs off to clean and noticed that the rubber in the housing that holds the needle is perished. It looks like its meant to go around the small spring that sits behind the needle.

How necessary is this rubber? What is it meant to do?

Do i need that bit of rubber. On another platform people say there is no rubber there.
