VFR400 / NC21 Carb synch
Hi, In the process of rebuilding an NC21 VFR. I have the carbs off to clean them and check linkages etc.
Mine have been set up so that 2 of the carbs open earlier than the others. Is this right? It doesn't make sense to me! I can't see how they can be synchronized this way.
Although the bike ran when I bought it, it was pretty rough and very difficult to start.
Any thoughts?

I'd suggest that who ever worked on them didn't have a clue...

Agreed!
Now found some springs missing from the linkages. Hopefully putting some in will get the carbs all opening in unison....
