RVF NC35 Water pump

Hi guys,

i recently start rebuilding my NC35. I bought the from a guy who stored it for many years. One of many results was a pretty bad water pump. When i opened the pump i sew the impeller full of rust. In really bad condition. As i have read here in 400Greybike the water pumps can not be serviced.
My question is, can i fit a water pump from a VFR NC30..? Can be this done...? Or i will have to find a used one because it seems new ones are discontinued.

ah the bike hasnt had proper coolant in it or its been left too long with old deteriated coolant.

indeed they are discontiniued.

you can either find an nc21/nc24/nc30 water pump second hand in good condition or fit an electrical pump.

there are still many good second hand pumps around, i bought one a few years ago very very cheap and it was like new inside.
