Evening chaps.

Well I've just had an afternoon of it.

First a quick change of the rear pads on my 23, easy i thought, then found that the master cylinder won't build pressure. Not a major issue at this juncture, i'll look at it later.

The major issue came when I was starting it to put it to bed. It only ran on two cylinders. a quick look with a dab of a wet cloth revealed 1 & 4 were dead. Now this was working fine yesterday when she was run up to temp but my question is this, is it common for a coil to go overnight or are they fused?

Cheers

I have a spare set of NC30 coils in the shed.

Would it be worth wanging these on or are they different voltage?

I would try and get the bike upto temp again, possible damp problem may have occoured. I would have tbought the coils are simiar enough just to try out for your problems.

Coils changed, plugs out, now ive found that with a screwdriver up the cap and earthed i get a very weak spark, with a plug there is no spark at all.

I'm leaning towards the pick up being at fault.

Any other suggestions?

Pick up coils in spec, the only thing i can think of is that I have a loose connection or broken wire somewhere.

Th only thing I've moved was the starter relay when I changed the shock.

I have a complete NC29 loom in the shed, would I be able to get this to fit?

Also I have an ignitech cdi fitted but the previous owner chopped off the oem connectors and changed them. I'd like to put them back to 4 pin connectrs but need an ignitech connection chart, can anyone assist?
