Advice needed i am finding it difficult in selecting neutral on my nc30 the knuckle is lined up with dots

They are all a "knack" - small blip of throttle and you get the skills eventually

Check chain and clutch adjustment.

thought it being a honda it would be pretty positive are they normally hard to get unless the chain is set perfect.

As above there is a knack to it. My NC30 is def harder to find neutral than my old NC21. I do as suggested above, coming up to a stop blip throttle and find neutral. Its harder to do when stopped so I make a habit of selecting neutral before.

Another thing which affects shifting is your oil. I know many people on here use Motul 5100, but it didn't work as well for me as the cheaper 3100. Easier shifting/finding neutral in my opinion.

most of them are just like it, from what I've read you get micro wear in the clutch basket fingers which makes it harder for the clutch to release.

everyone one ive ever had has been like it to one degree or another.

usual approach is in 1st gear with the clutch in rev the bike upto 2-3000 rpm while holding some light pressure on an upshift and it will go into neutral.
