Major carb problem

Last job was to strip and clean/rebuild my carbs. I bought the bike as a basket case, so no idea how long it has lain. I split them all down to find two of the pilot screws were really tight to remove, once they were, I noticed the small needle ends had broken off and were still lodged down the orifice of the carb bodies ! All the carbs were really sticky and dirty due to probably not been drained. I plan to have them ultrasonically cleaned and hopefully those tiny needle parts will pop out. Does anyone have any idea where to source new or replacements ? Cheers

Anyone who can get Honda parts should be able to sort you out. So David Silver, Rick Oliver, and Honda dealer or decent bike shop.

carbs are probably scrap.

that needle on the pilot screws sits into a little seat that is drilled into the carb body at point of manufcature.

if the screws are bottomed out and tightened you will destroy the seat so the fuelling wont be right.

maybe you can get them to stlil work and fire up the bike but good chance the carbs wont ever run right.
