Hey there,
I have a track and a road NC30, they both have the later model shock with the remote reservoir, the linkages are different shapes and length but both appear to be factory. The ride heights are a lot different because of this. So I was just wondering if the early model bike had a different linkage? Can post a picture if it helps.
Thanks in advance.
Neil

Re: Rear Linkage Differences
The track bike has probably got the nc35 linkage as it raises the back end.

Re: Rear Linkage Differences
Cool thank you for that. You are meaning the steel link from the frame to the three point pivoting link?
If so then that's what I am also meaning.
Cheers

Re: Rear Linkage Differences
the dogbone is what your on about I believe
and the above answer is correct.. the nc30s are the same but the nc35 / rvf400 one is different as it uses a 17" wheel, if you put a 17" wheel on the back you need the link to compensate.
when people do this and re-sell the bike on they often sell the 17" separatly but dont change the links back, this will give you a jacked up ride height.
you can search the forum for dogbone measurements.
