Nc30 crankcase bolt torques

Post by Tim400GB » Thu Nov 06, 2014 9:22 am

Can anyone tell or show me for certain what the torque settings are for the crank bolts and the rest of the crankcase bolts are?

There are 6mm, 8mm & 10mm bolts in the upper and lower cases.

I had a look through the workshop manual on here but they're not jumping out on me.

would trust the haynes book they are always wrong on specs...

If they arnt listed with a special toruqe in the Torque section (1-14) then refer to the torque settings at the start of the section, it lists nominal torque values for all fastners on the bike that do no have a specific torque.

these are from the nc30 manual, they are lower than the haynes manual, i do remember seeing broken sump bolts before, maybe from the hanyes.

Pages 1-14 and 1-15 of the service book should help. ;-)
