NC29 8k Flat Spot

Post by Dannym » Sat Sep 06, 2014 1:43 am

Hey all. I'm having trouble with my bike hesistating when accelerating at about 8k it doesn't want to pull through at WOT then it does and rips up to redline. 4-2-1 downpipe, yoshi slip on. 110 main jet, 38 pilots, factory pro needs pos #3. I'm a little less than 1 3/4 turns out on the the pilot screws. Everything else runs good. Pulls hard during mid range, idles well. I've tried all different jetting combinations and changing the pilot screws. Every other range is fine so i'm thinking its not a jetting issue.

any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Danny

where did you buy the system?

is it one of the Delvic jobs from ebay?

If so your flat spot is there to stay, even graeme france couldnt shift it.

I've got the same problem with my race bike. Best way to fix I found was don't go below 8K...

Try turning the mixture screw out a bit, could be abit lean. Or put a washer under the needle ? 8-)
