Indicator fault.

Post by bikemonkey » Sat Jul 05, 2014 10:52 pm

I'm back after basic training with the RAF and my bike decides to treat me with a strange fault....

All 4 indicators flash but the two right ones flash fast even though they both work.

Anyone any idea what this could be? I'm stumped, although I haven't really tried anything yet.

Is the wattage rating of the two bulbs combined suitable for the flasher relay ?

I assume so, I haven't changed either of the bulbs at any point, it's only just started doing it.

Any corrosion inside the holders ?, try new bulbs; they only cost pennies.

Is the Indicator light on the gauges working for the right hand side? Assuming it has separate gauge indicators.

I have a Koso RX2 digital gauge, but it's worked fine until now.

Bike's been put away for another 2 weeks now anyway, didn't find the time to investigate.
