R&G Slider Install

Ok, time for the dumb question of the day....
I have some normal (the drill style) sliders I am going to install on my track bike and the instructions have me confused. The instructions say to place a jack under the engine to minimize movement then remove the engine bolt (front, under radiator). This makes me think I need to remove the front engine head bolt that is located under the main frame spar to the rear of the top radiator. Then I look at the pic on R&G's website and the sliders are installed in the lower hole on the engine that isn't connected to the frame at all. Coincidentally, this is the same location as the non-drill type.

So, which is it? The upper hole or lower?

Here are the install instructions...

And this is from the website...

I contacted R&G and Greg there thinks it is the upper bolt...

I think it's the upper hole, the lower hole isn't strong enough to withstand a crash

Normal ones fit on the top hole, the other style with the supporting bar in the middle goes on the bottom

That's what I was thinking too, but the motor I have in the track bike has some snapped studs in those lower holes...
I guess I'll just grind them off flush and install in the upper hole. That will make taking the upper fairing off a little harder...

Cheers guys.
