I'm toying with this option for an old(2000) SV race bike I bought.
The whole setup would be inside the fork leg.
The rebound adj would be inside the SV cap by using an aluminium adaptor tube threaded in.
Using the original thread on the preload adjuster to connect the two.
Basically a alu tube, big male thread on one end into the SV fork cap and a female thread on the other end threaded onto the NC30 cartridge.
THere would be no external adjustability but I'd probably just pick a setting and work with it.
Cant be any worse than the standard forks, which are shocking.
I need a very firm front end.
NC30 cartridge into SV forks??

Yep,they are damper rod forks.
I stripped both forks today and without some serious machine shop work,Its not a viable swap.
The end of the cartridge set up wont fit through the end of the SV fork leg.
M8 bolt vs M6...
Emulators it is.
