hi guys, fan of the site; been reading for a few months and finally took the plunge and bought a bike.
recently bought a grey import NC30 and im confused about the lights.
on full beam the lights are bright as hell, so they obviously work properly.
however on dipped beam, my headlights are completely ineffective, no brighter than a candle.
i know i shouldve digged deeper at the time but im now away from the bike whilst i try to figure it out- are there two different bulbs in the headlamp, one for full and one for dipped beam; or is there something wrong with my wiring?
im very new to motorcycle mechanics and all things DIY, so go easy!
NC30 dipped beam?

Re: NC30 dipped beam?
Take the bulbs out and see what you have fitted, Japanese market bikes are fitted with H4R 60/35W bulbs which are a bit crap. You can fit standard (or uprated) H4 bulbs but you'll have use adapter plates or modify the bulb tabs; and you'll also have to perform the relay mod to stop the switchgear from burning out.
