rubber airbox mat thingy

Post by richyrd5 » Sat Mar 08, 2014 1:38 pm

I cant find one of these.!could i use a thin car mat or similar and cut to shape?as i hear it upsets the fueling as it sucks in hot air from around the engine

I would stick to OEM if I could as this little rubber flap really does make a big difference to the smooth running of the engine.

Keep your eyes open on Ebay or put an ad in the "Wants" bit of the for sale and wants section and I am sure somebody will have one. Failing that try giving Graeme France (http://www.gfracinguk.com) a shout as he may well have something laying around.

[Edit] - at least x4 NC30s being broken on Ebay at the moment

Try contacting Geoff on here, he often breaks 400's, or at least did.

He might have one :peace:
