Hi , I have an 89 Nc30 and I'm thinking of changing the reg/rec but not sure which one to replace it with . Could anyone recommend a type please ? Any advice would be welcomed .

The yamaha r6 reg/rec is good upgrade over the standard fitment it requires cutting the multiplug and some soldering work but is a worthwhile improvement. If you use the search function you should find what's required as a good few here have done this modification.

There's a new one for sale in the parts for sale section when I last looked

Thanks for the reply . Does it have to be a specific model or year of R6 ??
