Hi all i need some help i just bought myself a nc24 im having a problem with the cold start :down: , please give suggestions on what it could be and how to fix it , also when im riding i cant just open the accelerator and go i have to slowly increase speed could this be the carbs sucking air ? and when i try start the bike when its cold i have to cover the exhaust with my hand turn hit the stater and slowly yet surely she comes to life , help will be much appreciated :peace: thanx

Hi, has it been stood?
I'd start with a carb rebuild, usually cures most starting problems. Maybe try some new plugs aswell, tho i think there 10mm plugs on a nc24 so dont die that easily, but at least its done then.
While you have it in bits you may aswell check the valve clrearances, just to makes sure its all as honda intended.

thanx Ian i will do that !! yeah the guy that owned the bike previously only road the bike on occasion ,
i will change the plugs etc give the carbs a clean and set them .....
