Can anyone help? I'm trying to fit the plastic tail unit on my nc23. Got the two bolts under the pillion seat fitted but the two just under the tank don't have anything to bolt into, am I missing some brackets or something.

The holes line up with the holes in the bottom of the tank (that have big rubber grommets in) but there is nothing under the tank for the bolts to bolt into.

I got my bike as an ex track bike in a bit of a mess and the tail unit was just zip tied on at this pont?

Any help would be really appreciated.

The Honda fairings have lugs that push into the tank. Race seat units do tend to be cable-tied at that point.
