nc30 taller rear end

Post by superfour1300 » Wed Jul 03, 2013 7:11 pm

hi guys
whats the best way to raise the rear height of an nc30..have been told a cbr600rr with reservoir attached to shock not with a hose. shock will make the bike sit taller at the back and the shock fits into the nc30..
is this true..or any other shock or tips would be a great help
thanks

If all you want to do is raise the height you can just shorten the dog bone by 8 mm to give about a 30 mm increase in ride height and keep using your existing shock.

You need to get the standard hole welded up before drilling the new one (measure where to drill the new one before welding!).

Lots of info here: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=5346

Or install an nc35 linkage or a bmw s1000 shock.
