rear brake pads removal

Hi all, having a lot of trouble removing my rear calliper on my nc30 ive taken the pivot nut out the calliper moves slighty but wont actually drop down. I've tried forcing it but no luck. any help will be appreciated!

Have you removed both bolts from the caliper mount?

Ive taken the one off closest to the rear of the bike right next to the hose going into the caliper, been looking for a second one couldnt see it?

There's a second one to the up and left of the one you have already removed, tricky to see sometimes

Got the calliper off, got the pin out and the old pads out, pistons are fully extended and they're very difficult to push back in?

Clean them up, use a g clamp and maybe some red grease on the piston may help?

Red rubber grease? May have some of that lying about! Will give the G clamp idea a go. Already smashed my thumb with the hammer!

if the caliper is off the bike, you would be best to pop the piston out give it a good old clean and check the seals are ok too.

yes red rubber grease, it wont make the seals perish like other grease will.

Yeah i did that anyway they were a bit grubby. :-)
Turns out I was delivered the wrong pads, so all that effort for nothing and now off the road until I get some more!
