Have found the fan plug connections on my nc30 just hanging loosely on its bracket, where does it normal sit on the bike?

Not sure if the 30 and 35 are the same, but I'm pretty sure that on the 35 that one half of the connector slips over a prong on the left side of the radiator.

yeah it does, the prong normally corrodes and falls off, it has on mine and a friends bike, i just cable tied mine to one of the hoses to stop it flapping around.
