nc23 tri-arm tyres

Post by GCCBRRR » Tue Apr 23, 2013 12:30 pm

Hows it goin lads im new on here and from dublin.
just have a quick question about what tyres to run on my nc23.
Im currently runnin bt014s front and rear.
front is 120/60 r17
and rear is 150/60 r18.
Ive no problems with this tyre but am wondering am i using the right size front tyre.
Im off the edge on the rear but a good 10mm away from the edge on the front which ends up leaving bad groove on either side of the front tyre.
Any help would be appreciated

I'm pretty sure those are the intended tyre sizes. I'm no expert so wait for someone else to come along and give you a better opinion. My bikes got a 120/70 r17 front tyre on it, only because I got it nearly free and brand new from work, I have BT021's which aren't that great but I used to use the bike for a lot of long distance motorway miles

The BT090 and 091 I think are the popular choices when running an 18 inch rear

Yeah they are standard sizes mate.
I use bt092's on mine and they are great in all weather and dont wear down as quick as the bt090's
