I have taken my carbs off to give them a good clean and found the restrictors are still in the inlets. Rather than remove them , I am looking to replace them with new as the rubber has gone very hard.
Can I replace them with the previous years models without the restrictors, or do I have to buy the same and remove the restrictors? is there any difference in size?

Re: Type R carb rubbers
Hi, buy whichever is easier, the R models marked 94 and as long as the restricters are the 53bhp variety you can just pull them out with pliers and they will be the same as earlier rubbers. I would advise against the ebay Chinese copies as I bought some and they would not fit. search my early posts for chinese parts reviews.
