I use standard and also Iridium NGK's in my NC35s that all works fine. I also have R847s but not used and still new boxed in my cabinet.

Just been looking for alternative spark plug options And found this old post from a google search. . . Just thought I’d pipe up in case anybody might wonder/worry about compatibility. . . The ‘C’ means ‘cut back ground electrode’. Mostly marketing w*nk from what I can tell, something about the shorter electrode better exposing the flame front to the rest of the combustion gasses blah bla . . .
