Appropriate Compression Tester?

Post by alexwitham » Fri Jan 04, 2013 6:49 pm

Hey, I need to test my front right cylinder for compression.

However, I have no idea which one will fit, and I have no experience on using one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Alex

Pretty sure you cant get a tester with a 8mm adaptor but a few people have made adaptors up, talk nicely to timon and he might make you one ;)

I have the Sealey tester. It comes as a kit with 8mm, 10mm, 12mm and 14mm adaptors so it'll do any vehicle I'll ever come across. IIRC it was about £30 through an offer in Classic Motorcycle magazine.
