VFR400 NC30 1989 front end conversion
Hi all i have a VFR400 NC30 1989 & am looking to convert the front end as i race it, i need to keep it period legal so the new front end needs to be conventional forks & i prefer 41mm so i can use my triple clamps & clip ons anybody got any idea's ?

Whats wrong with the stock front end then? im guessing you have early forks so later fully adjustable NC30 forks would be the obvious choice but even the early forks can perform well

Aye, keep the std forks..they are alright. If you have only preload adjust damper rod forks then a swap to the later cartridge forks would be a start.
Other than that...not a lot in 41mm that would go in and actually be much better.

Nowt wrong with them pal, if there performing poorly then a refresh and setup for your weight will work wonders.

Yes there rvf forks not vfr, 50mm

41mm forks were used on Yam Thunder Cats and are adjustable, I don't know if they used a cartridge or not.
The only other way to get more from your existing forks would be to use a cartridge kit in them but you're getting into some expense.
Maxton or KTech would do that type of thing.
