NC30 mirrors

Post by Columbo » Mon Dec 10, 2012 7:54 pm

I have two questions and I'm wondering if anyone has done what I'm thinking.

Mirrors that fold at the base so they can be tucked in.
As seen on modern GSXR and SV mirrors like this ebay ad here: http://bit.ly/TRnq84
Will any fit the NC30?

Spacers to sit between the mirrors and frame so I can see past my shoulders?

Thanks in advance!

mirrors from the VJ23 will fit, but the best are UK spec mirrors, good luck in finding a set of them though

Am I right to remember a thread on uk spec mirrors a while back?

I too would like to see past my elbows, but have made do with life savers and massive movements to see anything in my mirrors.

I think it will be difficult to find an original fitment folding mirror that will fit into the existing mount holes.

These aftermarket ones have an adjustable mount width, they look crap but aftermarket may be the only option: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LED-Indicato ... 2575e8737a

Crap isnt even the word! lol

I'm nowhere near to that stage yet but I was just curious and bored. I'll solve the problem when I get there. I'm just glad I know its a problem rather than getting hit by surprise :P

Thanks all!

correct, but they do twist down like NC imports, and you can actually see using them too.

Take a look at this post below,
viewtopic.php?f=24&t=21980

VTR 1000 firestorm mirrors are a good choice.

You have though to take under consideration the measurements that i am mentioning so that they have good viewing angle, also they need to be modified a little bit.

The choice below is also an option that i like too, much like cammos choice.

Make sure first, if the mounting holes are 3 or 4 cm
