The thin strips of foam/rubber that run along the lip either side of an NC30 tank seem to be discontinued.
Does anyone have a source for replacement? Does the NC35 have similar strips and is a similar enough shape to the NC30 tank to work?
Thanks
Luke

Ive got a set for both bikes in the garage and im pretty sure its the same stuff, the 35 is just 1 strip where as the 30 has 2, 1 long and 1 short.

Sweet, I just checked the fiche and the 35 part is available. If you could have a butchers whenever you get a chance Tony and confirm if it is the same stuff, then I'll just order 2 NC35 partsDrunkn Munky wrote:Ive got a set for both bikes in the garage and im pretty sure its the same stuff, the 35 is just 1 strip where as the 30 has 2, 1 long and 1 short.

Re: NC30 Tank rubber
I think they're subtly different. Isn't the long strip on the NC35 supposed to be fitted to the bottom of the plastic tank shroud? I don't know if it would fit under the NC30 tank. However, the front, side and rear rubber blocks are the same on both bikes. My 35 doesn't have the rubber strip on the shroud, and never has. It doesn't seem to make any odds as far as I can tell, the shroud doesn't seem to get very close to the frame.
